Delray Beach 100ft Christmas Tree Lighting 2017

Delray Beach is known far and wide for its BIG Famous 100 Foot Christmas Tree.  This year, Delray has a brand new tree!

A month long celebration kicks off with Santa lighting the famous 100ft Christmas Tree at 7:15pm on November 30th. Directly following the Tree Lighting Santa will be available for photos! Enjoy ice-skating, Putt’n Around Mini Golf & Carousel and much more! Event is free, activities for a nominal fee! Old School Square Park in Delray Beach.

Holiday Activities

Tree Hours: Dec 1st–Jan 1st

Open Daily: 10am-9pm (Opens 1pm on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day) $1 suggested donation.

Visit with Santa: Dec 1st–Dec 23rd

Thursday–Sunday Evenings: 5pm–9pm Dec 18th, 19th, 20th: 5pm–9pm. Photos–$12. $20 Fast Pass to visit Santa.

  • 5:00PM: FLAG RAISING AT ATLANTIC AVENUE AND GLEASON STREET
  • 5:30PM: SLIP AND THE SPINOUTS.
  • 7:00PM: AARON CARTER.
  • 7:30PM: AJR
  • 9:00PM: FIREWORKS FROM THE BEACH – NORTH OF THE MARRIOTT.

DELRAY BEACH STREET CLOSURES:

On Tuesday, July 4, beginning at 1:30pm, east Atlantic Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic from the east side of NE/SE 7th Avenue to Ocean Blvd/SR A1A, including all side roads. In addition, Ocean Blvd/SR A1A will be closed from the south side of Thomas Street to the north side of Miramar Street. Road closures will remain in effect until approximately 11pm.

All southbound traffic on Ocean Blvd/SR A1A will be detoured via George Bush Blvd/NE 8th Street to US1/Federal Highway. All northbound traffic on Ocean Blvd/SR A1A will be detoured via Linton Blvd to US1/Federal Highway.

4th-july-delray-beachThe Perfect July 4th in Delray Beach! Located on A1A and Atlantic Avenue, this FREE event will feature back to back live music with MainStreet Dreamers & The Holidazed! Be sure to sign up for the sand sculpting contest hosted by Delray Marketplace and challenge your friends to a game of putt-putt at the Putt’n Around mini golf course.

Family activities include a Splash Zone featuring a water maze and dunk tanks, a Kid’s Corner hosted by the Avenue Church with face painting, craft activities, sidewalk chalk and a giant community mural. Adults can cool down at the Beer Garden hosted by Burger Fi, Caffe Luna Rosa, and Boston’s on the Beach. We’ll also have a custard eating contest for kids and a burger eating contest for adults courtesy of Burger Fi. Visit the LocaLynx booth to enter the “Seek in the City” Delray Beach mini-scavenger hunt! At 8:30pm Daya will perform her hit singles and count down to the fireworks finale. Fireworks in Delray Beach begin at 9pm and launch from the north end of the beach and are simulcast by Wild 95.5.

December 3rd 2015 Festivities begin at 5 p.m.

The Delray Beach 100ft Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony is one of the largest and most celebrated holiday events in Palm Beach County. This month long annual holiday tradition in Delray Beach kicks off with Santa landing in a helicopter to light the 100ft Christmas Tree at 7:15 p.m. Directly following the Delray Beach Tree Lighting Santa will be available for photos!  There is also the opportunity to take a ride on our kid’s train!

July 4th 2014 Celebration in Delray Beach

4th-july-delray-beachThis is one of our favorite events of the Summer in Delray Beach!  We encourage everyone to enjoy the fantastic 4th of July firework display in Delray Beach!

Be HOT at Delray Beach’s coolest event of the year, the July 4th Celebration. Located on A1A and Atlantic this FREE event will feature back to back live music from The Kinected, Mike Mineo, and The Petty Hearts (Tom Petty Tribute Band).

Family activities will include the Remax Splash Zone presented featuring water slides, water games, and did we mention…. WATER, a Kid’s Corner hosted by the Avenue Church with face painting, craft activities, a photo booth, sidewalk chalk, and much more. For the adults who want to kick back a Beer Garden hosted by Burger FiCaffe Luna Rosa, and Boston’s on the beach will provide the refreshments to keep you cool including Burger Fi’s food truck giving out free custard samples. Plus custard eating contest for kids and a burger eating contest for adults!

Make sure to visit the professional sand sculpting artist, grab food from the vendors and restaurants, and challenge your friends to a game of putt-putt at the Putt’n Around mini golf course. As the night wraps up remember to count down with Mayor Cary Glickstein and the No Bodies Crew performance for the fireworks show which launches from the North end of the beach. The activities are endless just like the fun so bring your suits and sunglasses and enjoy the coolest event of the year, Delray Beach’s July 4th Celebration!
